Day 2 Mekong Delta Day trip B, L
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Ben Tre in Mekong Delta. On arrival in Hung vương Pier. Boating on Ben Tre river. See lively activities in morning. Stroll through the local market, then go to brick handmade workshop. Turn on Cai Son canal, continue visit coconut candy workshop, see how to make some food from rice, making sleep mats. Cycle rural tracks or drive tuk tuk through coconut grove, vegetable plains. Lunch at local restaurant. Boating back Hùng vương pier by motorboat. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7 Hanoi - overnight train to Lao Cai B, L
After breakfast, explore the capital, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays) ;the one-Pillar Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda.Then visit Museum of Ethnology (closed on Monday) and Vietnam Women Museum.
Continue with Temple of Literature-the first University of Vietnam. Then visit Ngoc Son Temple, located on Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a water puppet show. In the evening, transfer to the railway station for the night train to Lao Cai.
