Depart from Ho Chi Minh City by road to Cai Be in the heart of the Mekong Delta.
On arrival, embark on a sampan boat for a cruise on the Mekong River and its myriad of canals to Vinh Long. Visit an old colonial house and a rice popcorn factory.
Enjoy a tasting of local specialties for lunch, and then continue the journey to Can Tho, the largest town in the Mekong Delta.

D2 CAN THO–CAI RANG–CHAU DOC (B/L)
After an early breakfast, visit the vibrant Cai Rang floating market and witness the rural life and the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks. This excursion to the arroyos leads visitors to a garden for a tasting of exotic fruits.
Then visit the Binh Thuy Ancient House, a 100 year-old beautiful residence imbued with features of the southern delta. Observe the rural life and admire the lush vegetation along the riverbanks.
Discover the colourful Can Tho’s market before driving towards Chau Doc, at the border with Cambodia.
Upon arrival, climb Mount Nui Sam (284m), a center of Buddhist pilgrimage also dotted with dozens of temples and pagodas bringing together Chinese, Cham and Khmer’s influences.
Visit the most important religious sites before heading back to town and check-in at hotel.

Return back to Ho Chi Minh City by Cao Lanh’s road.
