Cat Ba Monkey island Resort
Catba Monkey Island Resort is ideally located on a private beach of Monkey Island ( also called Cat Dua island) in Lan Ha bay, Cat Ba islands ( South of Halong bay). It is about 2 miles from Catba town and it takes you 10 minutes to come by boat from Bến Bèo harbour ( Cat Ba town).

Come to Cat Ba Monkey Island Resort, you will have a wonderful time staying in bungalows, enjoy the fresh air of the ocean, enjoy swimming at the private beach, do kayaking in the bay, swimming, playing football, volleyball, billiard....or you can climb up the mountain for the spectacular view of Lan Ha bay.

Cat Ba beaches: Cat Co beach 1, 2, 3

In Cat Ba has hundreds of large and small beach , but clusters Cat Co beaches (Cat Co 1 , 2 , 3) is where a lot of tourists to the most by the rich natural landscape.

Cat Co 1 beach is wide and beautiful, lying around under the mountain, surf year round, fresh air and clear waters, is where a lot of tourists to rest and shower. Cat Co beach 2 has a little serenity and mystery. Cat Co 3 beach bear quite modern colors.

On the shore, outside entertainment area is the population hostel -style small villa to suit every family. Although the beach is not attractive as Cat Co beach 1 and Cat co beach 2, this is where many waves and quite deep, suitable for good swimmers. Finished swimming, relaxing on sandy beaches or enjoying drinks and seafood specialties, you'll feel all the beauty of the sea, especially at sunset.

Tung Thu beach

This is an investment beaches are being put to use. Here beach freak waves and quieter Cat Co beach. Tung Thu beach of Cat Ba town is about 2 km away towards the jungle of Cat Ba.

Cat Ba Town

The aptly named Cat Ba Town is the main settlement on the island with around 8,000 inhabitants or on boats moored in Cai Beo bay, about 2km away from the town itself. It features 3 beaches and a parade of restaurants and hotels along the seafront and reminded me a little of small coastal towns back home in the UK. It also features some nightclubs and bars - one that we went to called the Flightless Bird Bar. Unfortunately, we arrived in the town quite late and so didn't have any time to really explore it.

Cat Ba National park

Cát Bà National Park is a World Heritage Site designated as a biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam. The park is part of Cát Bà Island in Hạ Long Bay and is administered by the city of Haiphong.

Lan Ha Bay

Lying south and east of Cat Ba Town, the 300 or so karst islands and limestone outcrops of Lan Ha are just as beautiful as those of Halong Bay and have the additional attraction of numerous white-sand beaches.

Due to being a fair way from Halong City, not so many tourist boats venture here, meaning Lan Ha Bay has a more isolated appeal. Sailing and kayak trips here are best organised in Cat Ba Town.

Cat Ong island

Cat Ong Island is small beautiful island located 1.0 miles from Cat Ba town. The beach here is one of the most beautiful and quite beaches in Cat Ba Island. The sea water is so clean and emerald, the climate here is wonderful and nature are so beautiful island, good place for relax and active sport as kayaking excursions...

Viet Hai fishing village

Viet Hai Village, located approximately 18 km from Cat Ba island, the small fishing village of Viet Hai stretches along the coastline. To reach the village one can embark on an 8km trek passing the Ao Ech Lake before arriving in Viet Hai...

Ben Beo harbour

Ben Beo, about 2km from Cat Ba town where most of the tourist boats berth. This is the most of Cat ba tourist boat pier, from here is old harbour of boat cruise from Halong bay, this pier is mainly route to Viet Hai village, Lan Ha bay and monkey island. And away 15km to Cat Ba National Park...

Gia Luan harbour

Gia Luan ferry, about 35km from Cat Ba town where most of the tourist and local ferry between Cat Ba island and Halong bay. This is main road from Halong bay to Cat Ba Town. 15km to Cat Ba National Park in mid way. There is also a public bus that meets the boats and ferry from Tuan Chau island in Halong Bay...

Ba Ham lake

Situated on the south-west side of Ha Long Bay, Ba Ham Lake is found on Dau Be Island (Calf Head Island) in Lan Ha Bay - Catba Vietnam. This island is part of the range of islands at the farthest end of Ha Long Bay, bordering the immense zone Long Chau Sea.
