Day 1 Arrival in Luang Prabang - Welcome Dinner D
On arrival at the Luang Prabang airport, pick up and transfer to hotel. Check in. Free time at your leisure. Have dinner at local restaurant with traditional dance & folk song.

Day 2 Cruise Mekong to Pak Ou Caves B, L
After breakfast, visit Royal Palace Museum, embark on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River, then discover Pak Ou Caves. Stop at the village of Ban Xanghai. Visit the Wat Xiengthong a superb piece of Lao temple architecture and the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center (closed on Monday). Transfer to visit Wat Prabath. Last is visit to Night Market.

After breakfast, visit Royal Palace Museum, embark on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River, then discover Pak Ou Caves. Stop at the village of Ban Xanghai. Visit the Wat Xiengthong a superb piece of Lao temple architecture and the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center (closed on Monday). Transfer to visit Wat Prabath. Last is visit to Night Market.

Day 3 Morning Alms Giving - Nahm Dong Park - Hillside Resort B, L
In the morning, join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving. Then visit the temporary morning market. Transfer to Nahm Dong park, try the Zipline flying over the jungle and the waterfalls. Then walk back via the jungle trail crossing some flying bridges, small streams, and clear natural pools. Have lunch. Free time before transferring to the nearby Hillside Resort.

Day 4 Trek Ban Long Lao - Kuang Si Waterfalls B, L
After breakfast, visit to the ethnic Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung and visit Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song. Explore a cave which was used as a bomb shelter by the locals during the second Indochina war. Come to the Kuang Xi waterfalls. Lunch. The afternoon is spent bathing and relaxing around the turquoise pools below the waterfall. Take a short walk to a nearby Khmu village of Ban Thapene.
Approximately: 2 hours driving, 4 hours trekking

After breakfast, visit to the ethnic Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung and visit Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song. Day 5 Explore Pha Tad Ke Garden and Local Villages B, L
After breakfast, take the tuk tuk to the meeting point in town. Upon arrival and visit of Pha Tad Ke BotanicalGarden. Have lunch before taking the boat back to Luang Prabang. Come to the Ban Chan, which is renowned in the region for its pottery making. Continue the boat to Ban Xiengmene, visit Wat Long Khun temple and the limestone cave Tham Sakkarin, and Xiengmene village or visit to Wat Chomphet. Back to Luang Prabang.
Overnight in Luang Prabang
After breakfast, take the tuk tuk to the meeting point in town. Upon arrival and visit of Pha Tad Ke BotanicalGarden. Have lunch before taking the boat back to Luang Prabang. Day 6 MandaLao Elephant Camp - Chateau Orientale B, L
After breakfast, visit to Xieng Lom Village. Across the Nam Khan River visit the waiting elephants and feed them some special treats. Enjoy observing elephants from the river bank as Mahouts wash them in the Nam Khan river. You can experience elephants washing, swimming and playing in the water. Please note this is voluntary activity for the elephants and Mandalao does not force them to get in the water. (On cold days the elephants are less likely to want to get wet.). Arrival at the jungle-covered Huay Nok stream. Have lunch at Mandal Lao. Walk to the nearby Chateau Orientale Resort. Free time at your leisure.

After breakfast, visit to Xieng Lom Village. Across the Nam Khan River visit the waiting elephants and feed them some special treats.
