Day 1 Arrival in Luang Prabang - City Tour D
On arrival at the airport, pick up and transfer to hotel. Check in. Visit to the Wat Xiengthong - represents classical Laotian architecture and Royal Palace Museum. Continue to Wat Mai Temple – a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief. If time permits, take a short walk around the small streets of city center. The afternoon, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi. Have dinner with traditional dance & folk song. Last visit to the famous Night Market.
Overnight in Luang Prabang

Continue to Wat Mai Temple – a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief. If time permits, take a short walk around the small streets of city center. The afternoon, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi. Have dinner with traditional dance & folk song. Last visit to the famous Night Market.

Day 2 Cruise the Mekong to Pak Ou Caves and Kamu Lodge B, L, D
After breakfast at the hotel, board on a traditional Long River boat at Kamu Lodge. Visit Pak Ou caves to see thousands of gold Buddha statues placed in sacred. Arrival Kamu Lodge around noon. Have lunch in an airy SALA settled in the middle of rice paddy fields. After lunch, free time to enjoy the traditional Kamu lifestyles and activities such as rice planting and harvesting in surrounding rice fields, gold panning in the Mekong, traditional fishing techniques, visit of the Kamu village, archery contest. Have dinner at Kamu tribe standards.

After breakfast, go to 4-hour trek in the surrounding forest to the waterfall (trekking grade: moderate/challenging). Have lunch. Visit one village along the Mekong River. In the afternoon, time to relax enjoying leisure activities available on site: bathe in the Mekong, one hour Lao traditional massage, “petanque” contest (…) Have dinner at the restaurant.

After breakfast, go to 4-hour trek in the surrounding forest to the waterfall (trekking grade: moderate/challenging). Have lunch. Visit one village along the Mekong River. In the morning, Free time at your leisure. Then take the boat back to Luang Prabang after lunch. Arrive in Luang Prabang, transfer to hotel. Free for the rest of the day.

Day 5 Explore Pha Tad Ke Garden B, L
In the morning, join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving. From there, visit the temporary morning market. Arrival at Pha Tad Ke Botanic Garden. Finish your excursion with an optional orchid talk at Pha Tad Ke Nursery. Have lunch at Pha Tad Ke’s café. Embark on a trek following our limestone paths to the Pha Tad Ke cave. Then join the workshop about Lao Traditional Medicinal Herbal Teas. Free time to expore. The boat will depart back to Luang Prabang. Transfer back to your hotel by tuk tuk.
