Hanoi's Blooming Debut: The 1st Lotus Festival

Hanoi's first-ever Lotus Festival will take place from July 12th to 16th, 2024, celebrating the beauty and cultural significance of the lotus flower. Held at the Tay Ho Cultural and Creative Space, the five-day event highlights this cherished symbol of Vietnamese tradition through various activities.


The festival will commence with a grand opening ceremony on July 12th, featuring the announcement of the "Beauty, Ao Dai, and Lotus" photo contest winners, followed by the captivating "Story of the Lotus" art program. The organizers will also present a heartfelt gesture of appreciation to the sponsors and participating ambassadors.


Throughout the festival, attendees can explore a captivating display of OCOP products, representing the unique offerings of Vietnam's northern mountainous provinces. A dedicated space will showcase various lotus-based delights, from culinary creations to decorative items. Visitors can actively engage with the lotus theme through workshops on lotus ceramics, flower arranging, and tea experiences.


Music enthusiasts can enjoy the special "Trinh Cong Son and Friends" night, while cyclists can participate in the "Green Journey Cycling Festival," aptly named "Tay Ho Lotus Color." Adding to the festival's prestige, Tay Ho lotus tea marinating will be officially recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
