Cat Ba Island

April 5, 2024

Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago were officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site. For many domestic and foreign tourists, Cat Ba is still a little-known name because of its wild beauty and peaceful life. It only takes 2 hours to travel along the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway and then you can choose to travel by ferry, car, or cruise to reach Cat Ba Island.

Travelers who begin their vacation from Ha Long to Cat Ba will be taken to Lan Ha Bay by the cruise line, offering opportunities for swimming in calm waters and admiring the iconic limestone karsts. Kayaking into caverns and diving to observe coral are two exciting activities that will make your trip even more memorable if you enjoy discovery.

With the aim of sustainable development, the Cat Ba Archipelago is progressively bringing back memories of old, historic towns where people fished for seafood and produced handmade fish sauce. Visitors may also enjoy leisurely walks and bicycle rides on quiet roads. Some craft villages still preserve that culture to this day such as Viet Hai Ancient Village and Cai Beo Fishing Village.

Cat Co Beach and Tung Thu Beach are renowned for their spaciousness, tranquility, and crystal-clear blue waters, providing tourists with a convenient and enjoyable experience, while numerous hidden pristine beaches await exploration. Additionally, over the past two years, there has been a 10% increase in visitors, leading to improvements in resort and restaurant services to better accommodate the growing number of tourists.

Add Cat Ba Island to your list of must-see places in Vietnam this summer!
