Buon Ma Thuot Gears Up for 9th Coffee Festival

Buon Ma Thuot, the coffee capital of Vietnam, will host the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival from March 9 to 13, 2025, under the theme “Buon Ma Thuot – Destination of World Coffee.” This year’s festival will feature a digital content creation contest aimed at promoting the event online, along with a variety of activities celebrating Vietnam’s renowned coffee industry. Highlights include an exhibition showcasing coffee and OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items, a specialty coffee roasting competition, and an international trade and business conference focused on elevating Vietnamese coffee’s position in the global market.

Beyond industry-related events, the festival will offer a vibrant cultural experience with a street festival, a coffee camp, free coffee tastings, and the groundbreaking ceremony for Trung Nguyen Legend’s energy coffee factory. Visitors can also enjoy traditional festivities such as the Buon Don Elephant Festival, alongside tourism promotion activities that highlight the unique heritage of the Central Highlands.

With its diverse lineup, the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 aims to strengthen Vietnam’s reputation as a leading coffee producer while celebrating the deep-rooted coffee culture of the region.
