KICKING OFF THE FIRST FORMULA 1® VIETNAM GRAND PRIX, TICKET INFORMATION RELEASING

Vietnam will officially become one of the host countries for the Formula 1 (F1®) – Vietnam Grand Prix – in April 2020. Millions of fans have been waiting eagerly for the F1® Vietnam Grand Prix. The organizer of Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix – Vietnam Grand Prix Corporation, with consent from Hanoi People’s Committee and in cooperation with the event sponsor – Heineken® Silver will hold the “Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix Kick Off Event” on the evening of April 20th, 2019 at My Dinh National Stadium Square, Hanoi.
Releasing the very first Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix 2020 tickets

Taking place at the venue which will become a part of the official racetrack of the F1® Vietnam Grand Prix 2020, the event will bring the F1 experience closer to the audience ahead of the race in 2020. In addition, a series of important information related to ticket sales such as ticketing packages, quantity, pricing… will be announced.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice President and CEO of VINGROUP, said: “After the groundbreaking ceremony, the “Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix Kick Off Event” will be the first push in a series of events and activities to promote the F1® Vietnam Grand Prix in Vietnam in 2019, bringing the F1® experience closer to sport fans in particular and the Vietnamese public in general. This prestigious Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix will showcase Vietnam to the world and attract more international visitors, furthermore, this event will mark the beginning of bringing a vibrant festive atmosphere to the capital throughout the upcoming seasons from now until 2030”

About the new Vietnam street circuit
The Hanoi Feasibility Group provided suggestions of potential locations, track layouts and associated CAD (Computer Aided Design) data to F1’s Motorsports team, who subsequently built a simulation model of the circuit to carry out lap simulation analysis.
The strategy was employed for Vietnam’s new track, located on the western side of the city in the vicinity of the My Dinh National Stadium. And that means it’s not your typical street circuit – far from it…
The aim was to create a unique hybrid layout, fusing a street circuit’s characteristics with a permanent countryside track layout within the confines of the city’s topography.
It was at this stage that anticipated car speeds, G-forces and the overall flow and characteristics of the circuit could be assessed.
The final design will be the culmination of a collaboration between F1’s Motorsports team, circuit design company Tilke (who have been responsible for designing many of F1’s best tracks), the City of Hanoi authorities and the race promoter, with governing body the FIA also part of the process.
