Chau Doc - Next to the border to Cambodia
Chau Doc is home for many Khmer, Cham and Chinese and is only a few kilometers from the Cambodian border. The cultural diversity is obvious: the little town has many historical sites, such as the Thoai Ngoc Hau mausoleum and the Quan Cong temple. Chau Doc is located on the Hau Giang diffluence (Bassac River). There is lively boat traffic on the river and also a colourful floating market. The street market is worth a visit too.

 
ITINERARY IN BRIEF
DAY 1: HCMC – MyTho – BenTre – CanTho (-/L/-)
 
08h:00am pick you up from our office departure for MyTho. Arrive in MyTho boarding on the boat for a boat trip along Mekong river to see the river side. Proceed to the island on Mekong river to visit a local people village, fruits garden, lunch serve in the heart of the orchard garden. Then stop at a local family relaxing, enjoy tropical fruits and listen to southerner traditional music, visit bee farm enjoy honey tea and honey wine. After trekking through the fruit plantation, enjoy rowing boats in a small canal to see coconuts tree forest.
03h: 00pm returning MyTho by motor boat. Proceed to CanTho. Check in hotel, dinner on guest’s account. Free time to discover city at night. Overnight at hotel in CanTho. (Homestay can be arranged on request)


 
DAY 2:  CanTho – CaiRang floating market – ChauDoc (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, take a morning boat to visit the most busiest CaiRang floating market with local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boat. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit rice noodle making village. Experience the Monkey Bridge in the Delta. Visit another floating market – PhongDien before going back to CanTho city. Break for lunch.
Afternoon, proceed to ChauDoc, on the way stop at LongXuyen to visit crocodile farm. Arrival in ChauDoc in the afternoon, check in on arrival. Have free time to visit caved pagoda, Lady ChuaXu Temple on Sam Mountain. Enjoy the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian Frontier. Free time in the evening to discover city at night. 
 
DAY 3: ChauDoc- fishing farm – Phnom Penh ( B/-/-)
After early breakfast at hotel, take a boat trip to visit floating fishing village – fish farm raise under the house, Cham minority people village and towel weaving workshop.
Transfer to ChauDoc harbor and take boat to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Tour ends.

Vietnam's weather varies greatly from north to south with each area marked by slightly different seasons and climates. Because of these regional variations, there are always pleasant and favorable areas to visit throughout the year. The north, overall, tends to be cooler than the rest of the country. During the winter from November till February, the day time temperature is cool and the weather often damp. Central Vietnam experiences warm weather from July to October and wet, colder weather from November to May. Although the temperature remains fairly steady throughout the year, Southern Vietnam has two seasons. The dry season lasts from December to May, while from June to November is the rainy season
