Itinerary: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay – Da Nang – Hoi An
 
ITINERARY
DAY 1 HA NOI ARRIVAL (-)
Welcome on arrival at Ha Noi airport by the local guide, then transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Note: Rooms are available from 2 pm.
 
Rest of day is at leisure for your own discovery the Ha Noi’s Old Quarter with 36 streets and a maze of lanes making up the old city center of the capital more attractive.
Located in the center of the northern delta with a population of 6.2 million and an area of 3,398 squares kilometers, Ha Noi is an ancient city that was founded and developed for more than 1000 years since 1010. Although some relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many cultural and historical monuments of interest to visitors and residents.

DAY 2 HA NOI CITY TOUR (B/L)
After breakfast, explore the capital including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays), where rests the remains of the national hero, the father of the nation. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, first university in Vietnam’s history.
Have a lunch at local restaurant.
 
In the afternoon, go to visit Ngoc Son Temple beautifully situated on Hoan Kiem Lake, and which is reached by a charming wooden bridge. Enjoy tricycle tour and walking to explore Ha Noi Old Quarters.

DAY 3 HA NOI – NINH BINH (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel.
08:00 Departs Ha Noi for Ninh Binh, situated 92 km south of Ha Noi. Situated 92 km south of Ha Noi, Ninh Binh is famous for the breathtaking landscape often dubbed as “Ha Long Bay on Land”. Arrive at the house on stilt at Van Long around 09:30 hrs, take a biking tour through local hamlets with visit to places of interest along the routes like village temples, pagodas, communal house and countryside market (approx. 7 Km).
Arrive at Cau Vang hamlet (Golden Bridge) in Gia Hoa commune, subject to seasons, you can join local farmers in their daily working routines like tendering to rice field or transplanting young rice or catching crabs or fishing… (Approx. 01 hour)
At noontime, visit a local family and join preparing your lunch with help of the owner. Lunch at local family.
Afternoon, continue to Van Long wetland biological reserve. Take one hour leisurely sampan ride and enjoy the spectacular landscape often referred to as Ha Long Bay’s counterpart. Then, visit Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh Dynastic Temples.
Your vehicle will be disposal to pick you up to hotel in Ninh Binh city.
 
Note: In case of physical difficulty for cycling, transportation by vehicle can be arranged.

DAY 4 HA NOI – HA LONG BAY (ON CRUISE – SIC TOUR) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Departs Ha Noi for Ha Long on shuttle bus and English Speaking Guide of the cruise company, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty, known in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea“
Arrival in Ha Long at noontime, after welcoming by cruise residence manager, embarkation the seat-in-coach cruise, lunch is served on board cruising by impressive rock formations with unusual names and shapes.
In the afternoon you will start to discover Ha Long Bay. Depending on each cruise’s itinerary of the day, you may visit a beautiful cave, or swimming at Titov or Soi Sim beach. Kayaking is available at a surcharge. When the sun sets, your boat will drop anchor for the night. You may attend a cooking demonstration before your delicious dinner.
In evening, enjoy fresh air on the sundeck, playing board games, available entertainments on board or leisure at your cabin for a comfortable night in the bay.

- The itinerary of cruise shall be changed without prior notice by weather & local authority.
- Tour guide is not authorized accompanying with passengers on board the junk. During the cruising, assistance of local guide on board is at available.

DAY 5 HA LONG BAY – HA NOI  DA NANG – HOI AN (BRUNCH)
Early riser may join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck (depending on each cruise’s program) and enjoy watching the sunrise in the Bay. Afterward your boat will weave its way back to Ha Long pier.
Breakfast and lunch on board (or brunch – depends on cruise program).
Disembarkation around at 10h30 - 11hour. Your tour guide and vehicle are available at pier to pick up and driving directly to Ha Noi airport for your flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival, pick up by tour guide and take short transfer (35km) to Hoi An. Late check in at hotel.

DAY 6 HOI AN CITY TOUR (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel.
Hoi An, listed as a World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, has been known for the exceptionally well preserved ancient town with the complex of old wooden frame buildings including the historical monuments and the fusion of indigenous and foreign cultures.
In the morning, explore the Ancient Town of Hoi An and its surroundings. One of the best ways to discover Hoi An and its surroundings is by walking. Visit the famous Japanese bridge and the Phuc Kien Pagoda and workshop of the Hoi An Lanterns. You will discover the daily life of the local people and green paddy fields, vegetable gardens, markets, temples, historic houses, fishermen and stunning countryside scenes will simply mesmerize you. This tour also offers great photo opportunities and you may find yourself chatting with the locals and inhaling unforgettable memories.
Lunch at restaurant. Then take sampan on the Thu Bon River to visit traditional ceramic and carpentry village.
Late afternoon is at leisure or to enjoy your time on the Cua Dai beach.

DAY 7 HOI AN FREEDAY (B)
After breakfast, time is at leisure at the hotel.
Today free time to explore Hoi An city on your own, do the shopping, visit the famous tailor shops or souvenir shops, take a bike ride to the village of vegetables Tra Que, explore the World Heritage or relax Cua Dai beach...

DAY 8 HOI AN – DA NANG DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, time is at leisure at the hotel.

The exception is Tet, the Vietnamese New Year - officially a three-day holiday but many businesses close down for a full week. LANGUAGE : The national language of Vietnam is Vietnamese. In big cities and in places with many tourists, people can speak basic English. As Vietnamese has six different tones, it is a difficult language for most foreigners to speak despite the fact that the Roman alphabet is used in the modern Vietnamese script.

Vietnam's weather varies greatly from north to south with each area marked by slightly different seasons and climates. Because of these regional variations, there are always pleasant and favorable areas to visit throughout the year. The north, overall, tends to be cooler than the rest of the country. During the winter from November till February, the day time temperature is cool and the weather often damp. Central Vietnam experiences warm weather from July to October and wet, colder weather from November to May. Although the temperature remains fairly steady throughout the year, Southern Vietnam has two seasons. The dry season lasts from December to May, while from June to November is the rainy season
