DAY 1 Hanoi – Arrival (No meals)
Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Note: Rooms are available from 2pm.
In the afternoon, discover the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Late afternoon, enjoy an hour - cyclo (rickshaw) tour through the Old Quarter. The first day will conclude with a traditional water puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2 Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B,L)
After breakfast, travel through the countryside to Hoa Lu. On arrival, ride on bike to Bich Dong Pagoda, and continue to Thung Nang pier. Then, board on a small sampan boat to see the beautiful landscapes. Continue, visit Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh Dynastic Temples and back to Hanoi. Transfer to the railway station for the night train to Lao Cai.
Overnight on train (1 berth per pax in shared 4-berth cabin).

DAY 3 Lao Cai - Sapa (B,L)
Arrive at Lao Cai railway station early in the morning. Discover one of several minority market.
Market schedule:
Sunday: Visit Bac Ha market
Tuesday: Visit Coc Ly Market
Wednesday: Cao Son market
Thursday: Lung Khau Nhin Market
Saturday: Can Cau market
In the afternoon, drive to Sapa and check-in at the hotel. The end of the day is free at leisure.
Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 4 Sapa – Sa Seng – Hau Thao – Sapa (B, L)
After breakfast. Walk to Sa Seng village. Then continue vistit the village of Hau Thao. Picnic lunch at village. In the afternoon, return to Sapa by road. Then, visit Cat Cat Village and back to Hotel in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 5 Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast, stroll through Sapa Market before heading to Thac Tien Waterfalls and stop at Tram Ton Pass. After lunch, overland transfer to Hanoi via Lao Cai and Yen Bai. Arrive in Hanoi late in the evening.

DAY 6  Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up and transfer you to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival at the harbor, enjoy the beautiful scenery in Halong, and have lunch with delicious sea food. Continue, enjoy from some interesting activities: kayaking or rowing boat around the gottos, swiming, a cooking demonstration with chef on board, an optional traditional massage (at your own expenses). 
Overnight on cruise in Halong Bay.

DAY 7 Halong - Hanoi - Hue (B, Brunch)
After the breakfast, stop to visit a natural cave. Brunch on board and transfer by road to Hanoi airport. If time permits, stop to visit But Thap Pagoda. Flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, welcome by the local guide, transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in Hue.

DAY 8 Hue (B,L)
After breakfast, ride on bike to the ancient village of Thuy Bieu, learn about the local life and culture in this typical village of Hue.
In the afternoon, discover the Imperial Citadel. Then visit the Thien Mu (Celestial Lady) pagoda, one of the most venerated sites in the city of Hue.
Overnight in Hue.

DAY 9 Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B, L)
After breakfast, depart to Danang via the Hai Van Pass, visit the Cham Archaeological Museum. Then, resume the journey to the port town of Hoi An, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 10 Hoi An (B,L)
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel to visit Hoi An old town and visit a lantern making cottage and learn how to make one. 
In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion by boat on the Thu Bon River and stop at a traditional ceramic and carpentry village. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 11 Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to Danang Airport for the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Visit the City Hall, Opera House, the contemporary Reunification Palace and the elegant 19th century Notre-Dame Cathedral. Then, stroll around the Central Post Office built. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the War Museum. Walk in the picturesque Chinatown "Cho Lon" which houses the Thien Hau Pagoda, go to Binh Tay Market and visit Giac Lam Pagoda. End tour with a stop at a lacquer factory to learn the manufacturing process.
Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 12 Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be, Vinh Long - Can Tho  (B,L)
After breakfast, drive to Cai Be in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Visit an old colonial house and a rice popcorn factory. Lunch. Then continue the journey to Can Tho. Check-in at hotel and time is at leisure.
Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 13  Can Tho – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After an early breakfast, visit the vibrant Cai Rang floating market, visit the Binh Thuy Ancient House and discover Can Tho’s colourful
market before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City. 
In the afternoon, continue the journey to Ho Chi Minh City and stop to visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City late in the afternoon.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 14 Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
After breakfast, the day is at leisure in Ho Chi Minh City.
Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to airport for the departure flight.
