Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival (D)
Meet on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon: City tour (if time permits): Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam's first university, Hoa Lo prison and Quan Thanh Temple. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi .
Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc Cave (B/L)
Morning: transfer to Ninh Binh, enjoy the boat to Tam Coc - Bich Dong ( Vietnam Inland Halong Bay ) .
P.M, visit Hoa Lu ancient capital by bike. Over night in Ninh Binh.
Day 3: Ninh Binh - Bai Dinh pagoda - Ha Long ( B )
Morning , Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda - the biggest Pagoda in South East Asia . Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, transfer to Halong, on the way visit Phat Diem Church - the Catholic Church with the best special of architecture in Vietnam . Arrive in Ha Long, Dinner at restaurant. Over night in hotel.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/ L)
In the morning: Discover Halong Bay , listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. A 4-hour cruise on a wooden boat through the picturesque bay of 3,000 limestone islands dotted with caves and grottoes. Seafood lunch on board. In the afternoon: Drive back to Hanoi . Overnight in Hanoi .
Day 5: Hanoi City tour - Hue (B)
Morning: City tour: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and whole October-November) and Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Museum of Ethnology , Afternoon: Cyclo-tour wandering around to enjoy Hanoian livings with its thousands of years of history, French colonial architecture quarter and Ha Noi Old Quarter which consists of 36 ancient & narrow streets bearing names of various traditional businesses once conducted there such as Silk street, paper street, shoes street, Bronze street and so on. Free time for shopping in ancient streets.Enjoy water puppet show which is probably the most unique art performance in the world, originated in the North of Vietnam in 11th century. Evening: Transfer to Hanoi railway station to board night train Hanoi-Hue. Overnight on train.
Day 6: Hue (B)
08.20 Arrive at Hue railway station and transfer to hotel for check in. Afternoon: Visit the Imperial Citadel and the tomb of King Tu Duc and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue .
Day 7: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B)
Morning: boat trip on Perfume River , visit Thien Mu Pagoda and then drive to Danang across the Hai Van Pass, passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit Cham Museum , Marble Mountain , Non Nuoc Beach then proceed to Hoi An and transfer to hotel. Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Nha Trang (B)
Morning is free at leisure. Drive to Danang, lunch at local restaurant then transfer to the railway station for day train Danang - Nha Trang. Arrival in the late of evening, transfer to hotel for accommodation. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 9: Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Morning visit Long Son Pagoda and the Po Nagar Cham Tower, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 2nd century AD. The town was built between the 7th and 12th centuries and is still used today as a place of pilgrimage for the Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists. Afernoon: Free to swim and relax by the sea. Evening: Transfer to Nha Trang railway station to board night train Nha Ttrang - Ho Chi Minh City . Overnight on train.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
05.20 Arrival to Ho Chi Minh City . City tour to visit China town, Thien Hau Pagoda, History Museum and former Presidential Palace. Visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels - 40 km from Ho Chi Minh City , an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B) Morning: Coach trip to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City ) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route ( by guest ). Continue with a visit to a snake farm and then drive back Ho Chi Minh City .
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Free until transfer to Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
