Itinerary: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay – Da Nang – Hoi An – Hue – Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta
 
ITINERARY
DAY 1 HA NOI ARRIVAL (-)
Upon arrival, meet up our tour guide at Hanoi airport and transfer and check-in at the hotel (after 2pm). Rest of day is at leisure.

DAY 2 HA NOI – FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B/L)
After breakfast, explore the capital including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays), where rests the remains of the national hero, the father of the nation. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, first university in Vietnam’s history.
Have a lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, go to visit Ngoc Son Temple beautifully situated on Hoan Kiem Lake, and which is reached by a charming wooden bridge. Enjoy electric cart tour then stroll down to explore Hanoi Old Quarters.
Enjoy the evening with a performance of the famous water puppet show.

DAY 3 HA NOI – HA LONG – HA NOI (B/L)
After the breakfast, transfer to the Ha Long Bay. After boarding the boat you will start a relaxing and wonderful cruise through World Nature Heritage Ha Long Bay, passing bizarre rock formations. Lunch of sea food on board. Swim in the jade color water in the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting).
The picturesque Ha Long Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. You will visit Thien Cung grotto situated on the south-west side of the bay, 4 km from the wharf outside of Halong City. The way to Thien Cung grotto is covered on both sides by thick forest. After entering a narrow gate, the grotto’s 130-meter-long girth opens up. Getting in you will be more astonished in front of the very animated and splendid beauty which is made from the stalactites. On the east wall of the grotto, there is a grandiose and imposing picture with characters of tales. Going out of the Thien Cung grotto, you will have a sensation of just watching a unique, meticulous, interesting fine-art museum which is made by nature. This grotto is one of the most beautiful ones in Ha Long Bay.
Late afternoon transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in your hotel in the early evening.

DAY 4 HA NOI  DA NANG – HOI AN (B/L)
After the breakfast, transfer to the Ha Noi airport for short flight to Da Nang. On arrival in Da Nang visit of Archaeological Museum of Cham people.
Lunch at local restaurant then continue to Hoi An, listed as a World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Afternoon, Explore the Ancient Town of Hoi An and its surroundings. One of the best ways to discover Hoi An and its surroundings is by walking. Visit the famous Japanese bridge and the Phuc Kien Pagoda and workshop of the Hoi An Lanterns. You will discover the daily life of the local people and green paddy fields, vegetable gardens, markets, temples, historic houses, fishermen and stunning countryside scenes will simply mesmerize you. This tour also offers great photo opportunities and you may find yourself chatting with the locals and inhaling unforgettable memories.

DAY 5 HOI AN - HUE (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, the journey to Hue will take you over the famous Hai Van Pass with a green view of the stretch of Truong Son mountain range on one side and a spectacular view of the East Sea on the other.
Located in Central Vietnam, Hue is the only place in the country where many historic, cultural, architectural as well as artistic values have been recognized internationally and listed by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritages. Visit of the Tomb of the Emperor Tu Duc.
Lunch at restaurant.
Afternoon, continue your trip to explore the Imperial Citadel, listed as a World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Tthen visit the Thien Mu Pagoda before check in hotel.

DAY 6 HUE  HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the Hue airport for early morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Visit Ho Chi Minh City with the Opera House, the Fine Arts Museum (closed on Mondays), the Independence Palace, the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica and the Central Post Office.
Lunch at restaurant. Visit the China Town in Cho Lon, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Binh Tay market, the Giac Lam Pagoda and a lacquer workshop.

DAY 7 HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (BEN TRE) (B/L)
After the breakfast, transfer to Ben Tre province in Mekong Delta, on arrival, stroll through the local market, then brick factory located. Cruise on the Mekong River by local boat then visit a coconut candy factory, continue  take a ride through the Nhon Trach canal. After disembarking take a walk to a mat-weaving family house for a tropical fruit tasting. Lunch at local restaurant on the bank of river then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 8 HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE (B)
After the breakfast, day at your leisure until the transfer to the Ho Chi Minh City airport to take the flight back home or to next destination.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS : Vietnam celebrates many holidays; however it is rare that shops are closed. The exception is Tet, the Vietnamese New Year - officially a three-day holiday but many businesses close down for a full week. LANGUAGE : The national language of Vietnam is Vietnamese. In big cities and in places with many tourists, people can speak basic English. As Vietnamese has six different tones, it is a difficult language for most foreigners to speak despite the fact that the Roman alphabet is used in the modern Vietnamese script.

Vietnam's weather varies greatly from north to south with each area marked by slightly different seasons and climates. Because of these regional variations, there are always pleasant and favorable areas to visit throughout the year. The north, overall, tends to be cooler than the rest of the country. During the winter from November till February, the day time temperature is cool and the weather often damp. Central Vietnam experiences warm weather from July to October and wet, colder weather from November to May. Although the temperature remains fairly steady throughout the year, Southern Vietnam has two seasons. The dry season lasts from December to May, while from June to November is the rainy season
